let afternoon we start our journey, we left bustling Kathmandu, winding through narrow roads into misty hills. As city lights faded, rural Nepal came alive terraced fields, quiet villages, and sleepy tea shops. After a 5-6hour scenic drive, we reached Manthali, Ramechhap gateway to the Himalayas ready to board the mountain flight to Lukla.
Flights to Lukla during peak season often operate from Manthali to avoid congestion at Kathmandu airport.

The trail descends gently from Tengboche through rhododendron forests and Deboche village, crosses a suspension bridge over the Imja Khola, then climbs gradually to Pangboche with stunning views of Ama Dablam, Everest, Lhotse, and Kangtega passing monasteries, pine forests, and prayer flags along the way before continuing to Ama Dablam Base Camp for lunch and relaxation, and then returning to Pangboche.

The trail from Pangboche to Dingboche climbs gently along the east bank of the Imja Khola, passing the small settlement of Shomare and opening into the alpine landscapes of the Imja Valley, with stunning views of Ama Dablam, Taboche, Cholatse, Island Peak, and the flowing Imja Khola, alongside mani walls and traditional yak shelters, before reaching the beautiful highland village of Dingboche at 4,410 meters.

The summit day on Island Peak begins around 1:00 to 2:00 AM with a rocky trail and steep scramble leading to the glacier, followed by roped glacier travel, crevasse crossings, and a final ascent up a steep ice headwall using fixed ropes and a jumar, aiming to reach the summit by 8:00 to 9:00 AM, enjoy breathtaking Himalayan views, and return to base camp by 12:00 to 2:00 PM via the same challenging route.if weather is good then same day we take helicopter flight back to Lukla. option back chhukung stay overnight
