The trek start with Flight from Kathamandu or Ramechhap to Lukla 2860 meters one of the most thrilling airstrip in the World. In peak season (Spring: Mid March-Mid May/ Mid September-Mid November) Flight usually operate from Ramechhap due to high air traffic in Kathamandu.in Low season winter and monsoon, you may fly directly from Kathamandu to Lukla.

let afternoon we start our journey, we left bustling Kathmandu, winding through narrow roads into misty hills. As city lights faded, rural Nepal came alive terraced fields, quiet villages, and sleepy tea shops. After a 5-6hour scenic drive, we reached Manthali, Ramechhap gateway to the Himalayas ready to board the mountain flight to Lukla.
Flights to Lukla during peak season often operate from Manthali to avoid congestion at Kathmandu airport.

Starting early from Dzongla around is crucial for safely crossing the steep, rocky, and sometimes icy Cho La Pass 5,420 m where crampons may be needed since weather worsens by late morning, and after gently ascending with views of Cholatse and Lobuche East, the trail becomes steeper and crosses a glacier before reaching the panoramic pass, then descends sharply over boulders and loose paths to finally arrive at the small village of Thagna a resting point before Gokyo.

Starting early from Gokyo Lake, offers the best chance to witness a stunning sunrise over Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and the vast Ngozumpa Glacier the largest in Nepal, while hiking up to Gokyo Ri 5,357m where the steep zigzag trail rewards trekkers with panoramic views of the turquoise Gokyo Lakes, Gokyo village, and towering Himalayan peaks, and after descending back, the journey continues toward Dole 4,040m passing through the glacier valley, scenic Sherpa villages like Machhermo and Luza, along downhill rocky paths, stone steps, and alpine meadows, with chances to spot Himalayan Thar or musk deer along the way.
